Teatan Kingdom is the 2nd World of Season One and the 2nd World of the main storyline of Guardian Tales. It was released on February 24th, 2020 on the Korean server, and was released on July 28th, 2020 globally.
The Knight sets out on their first journey to find the first Champion, who resided in the Teatan Kingdom. Despite having found them, they're unwilling to join until the kingdom is at a safe state, leading the Knight to strike a deal with the Champion and fight off against the Invader forces roaming around.
2-1 Invader Invasion Point
Through out the stage, you'll see some Teatans running away and some passed out. They are being attacked by the invaders. You'll run to the opposite direction of them, wanting to find the source of the chaos. You'll come across a new sort of puzzle, including electricity blocks. Just move the movable block upwards to open the path. If you get stuck, just press the green button to reset.
After opening the path, one Teatan almost runs you over, demanding to let them through. No matter your choice, the person will start preaching at you, but gets interrupted when a giant insect shows up, sucking up the Teatan into its green glob. You'll now fight the Harvester. Before you manage to defeat it however, an iron head shows up and scares it away. You'll see the iron head malfunction and float away. A new path will open.
After pushing the block out of your way, you'll need to break some rocks in the way of electricity. There are plenty of bombs but you can also use the Mole Glove to just break the smaller rocks.
Continuing towards the objective, you'll see the iron head flying across the screen again, in order to follow it, you'll need to move the block next to the Little Princess on top of the button and use the jump pad to jump across. Break the small rocks to allow the electricity to flow and open the path to exit the stage.
2-2 Marianne's Lab
Just as the player enters the stage, they will see the iron head being surrounded by Teatan villagers. Someone from the inside of the head tells them to scram before asking for the player to carry the head. Once they go forward the player will notice that they can't walk the main path with the head, as the head blocks the electricity and closes the path. Just break the small stones to pass. On the second block, the player can drop the head before going to the other side and break the small rocks making way to push the blocks and allowing the player to pass.
As the player brings the head to the objective, they will see Marianne working on something. She is being nagged by someone to actually rest and sleep and let the Teatan Defense Force (TDF) to deal with it, but Marianne argues that the TDF should focus on evacuating citizens and Marianne herself should deal with the invaders. The guy wants to help, but Marianne refuses by saying that he doesn't know how to even set up a printer. The guy eventually relents and leaves. Once the player talks to Marianne she'll tell them that she was waiting for them. The player is allowed to ask her any questions. She is impressed by the player's ability to fight with the Harvester.
Suddenly, the Champion's Sword reacts to Marianne and the player asks her for her help in saving Kanterbury. She, however, doesn't want to save another kingdom before saving her own, so she asks the player to help her first. She tells the player that she needs electricity to power up the Iron Teatan by powering up three power coils. She'll then give the player the Ogre Glove to allow them to pick up bombs.
One of the power coils is just outside the lab; pick up a bomb and blow up the big rock in between two electricity blocks. The next one is blocked by a lot of rocks. Clear them out and move the electricity blocks to connect the wiring. The player also needs to step on the red button to allow the electricity to go through a block, but they don't have to worry about keeping the button down.
The way to the last power coil goes through a house; the player needs to first go to the rightmost room to press on the button and unlock the room to the bombs. Once the player has done that, they can use the bomb to break the big rock between electricity blocks and open another room. This room has a torch which the player can finally bring to the unlit standing lantern to open the way to the staircase. Go through the underground passage and the player will come across a bunch of Teatans that have evacuated. The last power coil is there; just break the small rocks and Marianne will tell the player to meet her at the Eastwood Street. The player can now exit the level.
2-3 Harvester's Nest
Marianne introduces her "Magnum opus", the Iron Teatan. She asks the party to ride with her, but won't allow anyone else to drive. However she allows the party to man the guns. Progress through the stage until a teatan called Marty stops Marianne, because Harvester's nest is ahead ahead and it is dangerous. Marianne does not listen to him however and continues on past him until Iron Teatan reaches the nest where she starts taunting the Harvester. The Harvester quickly destroys Iron Teatan causing it to fall and malfunction so Marianne is stuck inside it, but Marty attacks the insect from behind. Marty tries to protect Marianne but collapses from Harvester's attack while Marianne is stuck inside the Iron Teatan. The party will now fight the Harvester.
After beating the Harvester, it will drop Lv.1 Demon Bow. Marianne will finally be freed from the Iron Teatan just in time to hear Marty's dying words. Out of frustration Marianne will move to kick the Iron Teatan and call it an "useless piece of junk".
The hidden path to the left of the start of Harvester's Nest leads to an NPC who shares the location of the resistance's secret base, the Viva la Resistance! secret stage. That same area also consists of the Lv.10 Grade 3 Brilliance Bow.
After clearing the stage initially, re-enter Harvester's Nest to a different, undiscovered map. Using the bouncing pad near the start will take the player to an area with a Teatan soldier next to a giant iron arm. Talking to the soldier will unlock the Engineer Rescue stage after being tasked with saving his fellow engineer who was kidnapped by invaders.
2-4 Line of Defense
The teatans soldiers are mourning over the death of Captain Marty. Thanks to his sacrifice the soldiers have new vigor to fight just to avenge him.
For the first puzzle there is electricity to connect to open up the path. There are multiple steps to opening it. Going south-west there is are speedpads and a bomb. Lift up the bomb and use the speedpads to blow up the first big rock blocking the way. Going north-east there is a panicked teatan who asks for help as her father is stuck on an upper ledge. Climb to the ledge and go past the speedboosts as you cannot stop at the teatan. At the end there is a jump pad that will lead to the middle of the speedboosts and allow you to reach the teatan. Pick him up and bring him around to earn a Star Piece. Following the route naturally fill lead to a button that will also open up the path for the electricity. Going down from where the panicked teatan is, there are 4 Purple Bolts.
Once there is only last blocks left for both north and south, head to the button in the middle and it will open up the last blocks and the whole path.
Following the path will lead you to aqcuiring Lv.1 Ice Crystal Staff. After the leap the north will lead to the exit of the stage.
2-5 Invader's Base
Entering the stage there are missiles falling from the sky and teatans covering on the ground. South of the start follow the path past the jumping pad and up the stairs to find a button that will turn on electricity. Repeat for the north to open the path.
The second path to the north is filled with braziers that need to be lit up quickly in order to open a path. Just follow the speedboosts to solve the puzzle and light up all 4 of them. This path will lead to some bombs that can be use to open the path to the south. Pushing the stones out of the way will lead you back to a path that leads up the stairs and to north. Use the speed boosts to jump over the gap over to the button that will open up the path.
There are more exhausted teatans to the east through the path and it will lead to invaders cheering for someone holding a speech about cleansing the land. Leaping off the platform will lead to a boss fight against Invader Commander. He talks about preparing the world for "the return to it's rightful owner". He sees you as a tainted soul he needs to purify.
Once hiss health has been reduced to half, Marianne will join up the fight with her newly built smaller mecha. The mechas are being distributed all over teatan kingdom while the Commander is kept busy.
After defeating the Invader Commander and succesfully defending Teatan Kingdom from invaders, Marianne is seen saying goodbyes again at a gravestone. She joins you on your journey as a Champion.
With the World clear the level cap is increased to 40 and the amount of party members to 4.
